Bob Perrellas (Johnny Trout Seed) ---Trout Incubator System
(TIS)
The system uses the water from the heat pump heating and cooling
system that runs 24 hours a day 365 days a year, free clean potable
water at 56 F being released into the Pomperaug River a quarter
mile up stream of the Conference Center in Southbury. So the system
utilizes the water coming from the 8 inch pipe into the incubator
and the trout hatch from eggs and swim into the river at there own
pace and grow up to be caught by (Man or Woman Fisherman).
On Nov 18, 2010, ten boxes were each filled with 120 eggs
Every thing about this TIS is Green and Clean and does not cost
$ to the State or the Tax Payer; it just utilizes the forces of
man to the Good to Nature.
The DEP can monitor the Results.

Annual Banquet/Fund Raiser
2010 BANQUET
The annual fundraisers for the Chapter are the Banquet, Main Raffle,
Bucket Raffle and Silent Auction. There was no Main Raffle in 2010.
The 2010 fundraiser was a huge success. Chapter president Glenn
LaFreniere thanked all who financially supported the Chapter. Dominic
Falcone and Martin Petersen co-chaired the banquet and fundraisers.
Bob Perrella and Sarah Valentino assisted Dom and Marty with obtaining
donations. Their diligent efforts and our generous contributors
resulted in a increase in the Chapters treasury. Dominic Falcone,
Martin Petersen, Steve Farnham and Glenn LaFreniere worked on the
Bucket Raffle and Silent Auction at the Banquet. The Chapter looks
forward to these fundraisers in 2011 for its 34th Anniversary.

SPECIAL NOTICE TO ANGLERS AND HUNTERS:
During the 2010 session of the General Assembly, legislation was
approved and signed into law in April reducing many of the fees
for sportsmens licenses and permits. This was followed in
June by legislation authorizing a credit to be applied against the
fee for any 2011 sportsmens license, permit or tag when purchase
of a license, permit or tag had been made at the higher prices in
place between October 1, 2009 and April 14, 2010. The credit amount
will be the difference between the higher amount paid during that
time period and the amount set by the new fee structure established
April 14, 2010. For information about these credits, please visit
the DEP website license fees and credits page: www.ct.gov/dep/sportsmensfeereduction.
